Rep. Albee Benitez, chair of the House Committee on Housing and Urban Development, together with committee members Rep. Ben Evardone and Rep. DV Savellano, told the media in a press conference today, September 26, that the Committee is considering filing criminal and civil charges against private contractors/developers and government officials who are responsible for the snail-paced implementation and substandard quality of housing for Yolanda victims.
