A MEDICAL mission aiming to reach 7,000 patients/beneficiaries will be held at the Silay City Civic Center on February 8 to 10.
The mission, which will provide minor surgery, dental services, medical consultation, and free eyeglasses, is organized and sponsored by The City Government of Silay headed by Mayor Mark Golez, Kansilay Lions Club, Asenso Silay Foundation, Office of Governor Alfredo Maranon, Jr., Congressman Alfredo Abelardo Benitez, and Mrs. Dominique Lopez-Benitez.
Mary Ann Duran-Dino, executive assistant to the mayor, said more than 60 volunteers, 40 of whom are from the United States, have arrived for the medical mission.
The foreign doctors and other volunteers are from the United American Pilipino Group based in Washington D.C., Virginia, and Maryland, which Mayor Golez visited last year. (PR)
