Bogart' Unveiled at UNO-R

During the recent University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) College of Arts and Sciences General Assembly, a stuffed tiger by the name of Bogart was unveiled.


(From left) Taxidermist Alma Tan, Dr. Corazon Acaba, Dean Annabee Claur, Rev. Fr. Jose Alden Alipin, Dr. Carlos Eduardo Legaspi, and artist Christian Claur with Bogart, a stuffed tiger corpse unveiled during the recent UNO-R College of Arts and Sciences General Assembly.

The end result of the four-month long “Saving Bogart” team of Dr. Corazon Acaba, taxidermist Alma Tan, artist Christian Claur, along with other faculty and staff, the tiger will serve as a symbol of spirituality, sensuality, passion, boldness, and beauty.

The tiger is owned by Negros Occidental third district Rep. Alfredo Benitez.

Meanwhile, the assembly also included a welcome from Dean Annabee Claur, an address by Dr. Carlos Eduardo Legaspi, Jr., an officer induction led by Dexter Paul Dioso, and a school uniform presentation./WDJ
