PAGCOR Senior High School Building Inaugurated In Silay Barangay

The two-storey ten-classroom building for the Senior High School students of the Barangay E. Lopez National High School donated by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) through the efforts of Congressman Alfredo Benitez of the Third District was formally inaugurated today ( August 18) in a program attended by PAGCOR AVP Arnel Ignacio of the Community Relations and Services Department representing PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Andrea Domingo, Congressman Benitez and Silay City Mayor Mark Golez.
PAGCOR AVP Arnel Ignacio, Engr. Esther Miranda, Cong. Albee, Mayor Mark Golez, VM Joedith Gallego, Dr. Neri Anne Alibuyog, PTA president Edith Espida, Senior High School teacher-in-charge Ryan Garzon, Junior High School teacher-in-charge Rodeliza Abainza, Kagawad Joseph Emong; and seated, SSG president Russel Arevalo.
The blessing of the building was officiated by Fr. Ermin Bimbao of the Barangay E. Lopez Parish.
Silay City Schools Superintendent Neri Anne Alibuyog led officials of the Department of Education who witnessed the turn-over.
Also present were Silay City Vice-Mayor Joedith Gallego, Engineer Esther Miranda of the DPWH Negros 1st Engineering District representing District Engineer Jaime Javellana, and barangay officials led by Kagawad Joseph Emong representing Punong Barangay Debbie Jinon. *
