Third District Representative Alfredo B. Benitez has been named as among the national awardees of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) 2018 KABALIKAT Awards Program in recognition of his exemplary support and cooperation with TESDA  in the area of technical education and skills training  for livelihood and employment.

          TESDA Provincial Director Jimmisio  S. Daoaten, cited the substantial contribution of Cong Benitez and his office to the promotion, enhancement and provision of relevant Technical Vocational Education and Training for constituents.

          Cong. Benitez has partnered with TESDA since 2011 for the participation of more than 2,000 qualified and deserving constituents in the Third District in various programs, among them the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP). Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) and the Private Education Student Financial Assistance (PESFA).

          The institutional awarding ceremony  held August 23, 2018 at the TESDA Women’s Center in Taguig City was attended by Barry Enriquez of the House of Representative Office and Lagrimas Silvestre of the District Office, both representing Cong. Benitez.

          TESDA celebrated recently its 16th anniversary.

          This year, the office of Cong. Benitez intensified its community-based skills training in Murcia, Talisay, Silay, EB Magalona and Victorias, even including inmates of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology on shielded metal arc welding, automotive, hilot wellness massage therapy, bread-making,  and cake-making.*
