Consultation Meeting with SSS


To ensure smooth implementation of the Metro 3rd ASENSO Burial Assistance Program after its recent launching, the Programs and Services Group of Cong. Albee Benitez District Office facilitated a consultation meeting with key branch heads of the Social Security System (SSS) office and the respective technical working groups and lead implementors of the cities of Victorias, Silay and Talisay and the municipalities of Murcia and EB Magalona.


District PSG head Lagrimas Silvestre cited the support of Lilani Benedian, MD-OIC VisWest1 Div. and concurrent OIC Branch Head of Bacolod City; Brenda Cruz OIC BH for Victorias; Lina Hilado, OIC BH for Bacolod City East branch; and Josephine Sombina, OIC BH for Kabankalan. Also present in the meeting held last July 18 in Bacolod City was the SSS Legal Officer Atty. Jobel Tiu and other SSS technical staff.



Silvestre thanked the full cooperation of the Metro 3rd Mayors - EBM Mayor Marvin Malacon, Murcia Mayor Andrew Montelibano, Silay Mayor Mark Golez, Talisay Mayor Neil Lizares and Victorias Mayor Francis Frederich Palanca whose technical working groups provide meticulous focus on the handling of procedures especially verification of SSS or GSIS membership of the beneficiaries of the burial assistance program.*
