More Learning Aid for Metro 3rd Skolars

Urging the Metro 3rd Skolars to use the laptop  to their advantage and to connect to the world of web, Philippine Women’s University president Dr. Jose Francisco “Kiko” Benitez inspired the students to cope with the challenges of today’s fast-paced environment and “differentiate yourself from the machine” to  make a difference.

Dr. Benitez led the awarding of prizes to the 30 Skolars – winners of the September  16, 2018  2nd Tulong-Dunong Orientation and Dialogue in Silay City organized by the Office of Congressman Alfredo Benitez in partnership with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

He underscored three reminders for the Skolars who came to the awarding program last September 30 in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City with their parents -  finish your course;  look back and be grateful;  and help others.  He echoed Cong. Benitez’ message for the Skolars, which is to practice the value of “passing it forward” as they graduate and become productive citizens.

The winners of the laptop are:

Victorias City -- Mary Rose Almodiel, Reynolyn Belarmino, Jan-Jan Constantino, Ritchelle Hermoso, Mae Lumawod and Norelyn Tiam;

EB Magalona – Rose Aporong, Risa Lorca, Jhonrix Madoles, Jenny Patigas, Vina May Quilap and Emmanuel Villanueva;
