Ocular Inspection for Prospective Solar Project Sites

            A team from the Department of Energy conducted this week inspection and validation visits for prospective sites for installation of solar-powered facilities for households  in far-flung off-grid areas in the Third District of Negros Occidental.


            Accompanied by staff from the Office of Congressman Alfredo Benitez, the DOE group visited Barangay Guimbalaon in Silay City and Barangays Bubog and Matab-ang in Talisay City.

            Team Albee is composed of Anj Tubles, Cathy Napilan, Malu Resurrecion, Paz Marie Valenciano and Lagrimas Silvestre.


            In Silay City, the group  met with Silay Mayor Mark Golez and Guimbalaon punong barangay Claro Denosta.  The group also met with barangay heads Ricky Veraye of Bubog and Marina Bermeo of Matab-ang.*
