Rep. Alfredo Abelardo Benitez (Neg. Occ., 3 rd District) yesterday said he will hold those accountable for the death of an overseas Filipino worker from his district.

Josie Perez Lloren, 40, of Murcia, Negros Occidental, died at a Caloocan hospital on February 9, two weeks after her return from Kuwait.

Greg Perez, brother of Lloren, said his sister who had worked in Kuwait for about two years was maltreated by her employer and was gravely ill on her return to the Philippine and could nolonger speak.

She was unable to tell them what happened to her in Kuwait, Perez said.

“I will hold those accountable to answer for this injustice,” Benitez said.*
