3rd Albee Cup Talisay City Leads Men’s Basketball, EB Magalona Ahead In Ladies’ Volleyball

Following the conclusion of the fourth week of the ongoing Albee Cup, most recently hosted by the municipality of EB Magalona, the host city finds themselves ahead of the pack in ladies’ volleyball, while Talisay City leads in men’s basketball.

EB Magalona beat Victorias City in ladies’ volleyball. The latter followed up the loss with a win over Silay City. On the men’s side, Silay City lost to both EB Magalona and Talisay City.

In the 39-and-below men’s basketball division, Silay City continued seeing defeat, losing to Murcia, Victorias City, Talisay City, and EB Magalona.

The teams next head to Victorias City for the fifth week, scheduled from June 24 to 25.

The championship playoffs are set to take place from July 1 to 2 at the Victorias Coliseum./WDJ
