Magikland Rides Arrive
Sixteen (16) 40-footer container trucks quietly arrived in Silay City over the week-end, passing though the coastal roads of northern Negros. The container trucks were loaded on two barges that left Cebu in two separate days, carrying the four (4) of the eleven (11) rides that will be featured in MAGIKLAND, the most awaited theme park in Negros Island.
The first batch of eight 40-footer trucks that brought the Magikland rides to Silay City last July 7, 2018.

BACOLOD CITY — The National Housing Authority (NHA) is set to turn over 5,481 units of “Yolanda” permanent housing to qualified beneficiaries in three local government units (LGUs) in the Third District of Negros Occidental.
Marie June Castro, coordinator on district housing concerns under the Office of Rep. Alfredo Benitez, said on Tuesday the turnover could be held in August after the contractors and the LGU-beneficiaries have complied with all the requirements.

Beneficiaries or awardees of the Yolanda housing project are prohibited from selling, encumbering, mortgaging, leasing, subletting, altering or disposing the lot, lot with housing unit, or rights and interest, in part or in whole, within 20 years from the issuance of the title.
This was underscored by Jasmin Beloya of the National Housing Authority-Bacolod during the recently-held orientation sessions in the 3rd District of Negros Occidental for the disposition of Yolanda permanent housing units, a press release said.
