Albee: CAAP set to act on airport woes

Rep. Alfredo Abelardo Benitez (Neg. Occ., 3rd District) yesterday said the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines has assured him that it will act on his request to address the heat at the Bacolod-Silay Airport.
The CAAP will add industrial fans and air coolers at the Bacolod-Silay airport, hopefully, by tomorrow morning, he said.
“Within the week also, it will also procure 14 split inverter type aircons,” Benitez said.
The airport chillers are scheduled to be installed at the Bacolod-Silay Airport by the end of May to first week of June, Benitez he said was told.*CPG
