P600M Enchanted Kingdom to rise

QUEZON CITY - A P600 million Enchanted Kingdom park will open in Silay City, Negros Occidental, before the end of 2017, Rep. Alfredo Abelardo Benitez (Neg. Occ., 3 rd District) said Tuesday.

The ground-breaking of the park to be put up by Aton Land will be in the first week of December and, hopefully, will be operational before December 2017, he said.

The park that will initially cover 4 hectares will be managed by Enchanted Kingdom that is headed by Mario Mamon, its chairman and president, Benitez said.

An Enchanted Kingdom park currently operates in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

and an amusement park with numerous rides, Benitez added,

The park is expected to boost tourism in 3 rd District of Negros Occidental, he said.*CPG
