Murcia hosts Albee Cup games

Murcia played host to the four other teams that are seeing action in the Albee Cup Inter-LGU Sportsfest during the weekend at the town’s public plaza covered court and gym.



Murcia and Talisay women’s volleyball teams.*

In basketball, Victorias beat their host in the 40 above category but yielded to Talisay in their next match-up. Murcia bounced back in the 39 below category at the expense of EB Magalona.

Talisay remained on the lead with another win in the 39 below basketball against the Saraviahanons.

In men’s volleyball, Murcia won over Victorias but the latter failed to get past their rivals from Talisay.

In women’s volleyball, host Murcia was crushed by EB Magalona but managed to salvage a victory against Talisay.

EB Magalona will host next weekend’s competition at the at the Wilkinson Gym.*
