At the Victorias City Hall, Cong. Albee Benitez together with Victorias Mayor Francis Frederick Palanca joined the signing of the Perpetual Right to Use Agreement for the donation of the 10-hectare lot by the Canetown Development Corporation, a subsidiary of the Victorias Milling Company, as relocation area for informal settler families of Victorias City. Leading the signing are VMC president Eduardo Concepcion and CDC president Roy Hautea. The donation is part of their corporate social responsibility program.
Cong. Albee lauded the gesture of CDC and VMC as a milestone for the housing sector development not only in the Third District but for the province and the whole country, as the problem of informal settler families continue to grow. As chair of the House Committee on Housing and Urban Development, he noted that this development will provide government to design and plan for a viable and sustainable community that will include basic services and facilities for residents.
Mayor Palanca and Cong. Albee Benitez thanked CDC and VMC for the perpetual right to use agreement, as both underscored the mutually beneficial partnership for continuous community development. Witnessing the signing are the members of the Victorias City Council, Punong Barangays and the city department heads.
Cong. Albee met and hosted lunch for members of the national media covering the House beat at his home in Victorias City. The Congress media group visited Bacolod City and the Third District of Negros Occidental today.

Cong. Albee urged the barangay officials to match the beautiful structure with equally efficient and effective service for constituents in the barangay. He reminded both officials and residents to take care of the building and to work hand in hand for the growth and development of the barangay.
