On May 20, 2018 President Duterte graced the ground-breaking ceremony in Barangay Dos Hermanas, Talisay City, for the Vista Alegre Homes, a housing project of the new AFP/PNP. With Cong. Alfredo Benitez in the event were PNP Chief Director General Oscar Albayalde; National Housing Authority General Manager Marcelino Escalada; Department of National Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana; PCSupt. Cesar Hawthorne Binag, PNP Region VI Regional Director; Negros Occ. Vice-Governor Jose Eugenio Lacson; Talisay Mayor Neil Lizares; and several other provincial and local officials.
