PARTNERS FOR PEACE: Rep. Albee Benitez met with leaders of the Sustainable Initiative of Grassroots and Networks for Bangsamoro Basic Law (SIGN BBL), a broad coalition of civil society and grassroots organizations in Mindanao. Rep. Benitez and SIGN BBL are united in their aspiration for just and lasting peace in Mindanao.

Philippine Women's University President Francisco Benitez underscored the relevance and importance of sports competitions as part of the Philippine education system during the recent opening of the Area III Athletic Meet held in Silay City where he was keynote speaker. As he congratulated participating athletes, coaches and administrators, he cited the full support of the community and local government units.
Third District Mayors Welcome ‘Teach for the Philippines’
By June 2018 nine (9) teacher-fellows trained by Teach for the Philippines will immerse themselves in selected public schools in the cities of Talisay, Silay and Victorias in the Third District of Negros Occidental, to help provide innovation and more productivity in the learning system to improve performance of both teachers and students.
