Consultation Meeting with SSS
To ensure smooth implementation of the Metro 3rd ASENSO Burial Assistance Program after its recent launching, the Programs and Services Group of Cong. Albee Benitez District Office facilitated a consultation meeting with key branch heads of the Social Security System (SSS) office and the respective technical working groups and lead implementors of the cities of Victorias, Silay and Talisay and the municipalities of Murcia and EB Magalona.
Preparation Underway for Nikki CARES Medical/Surgical Mission for Metro Third

Mayor Neil Lizares III met with Dominique "Nikki" Lopez Benitez, wife of Rep. Alfredo "Albee" Benitez to map out the groundwork for a major 3-day medical and surgical mission on November 2017 at the Teresita Locsin Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City.

Balaring Meeting on Housing Concerns
Cong. Albee Benitez met today (July 20) with the purok presidents, kagawads and the punong barangay of Barangay Balaring, Remy Roldan to discuss housing concerns especially of informal settler families (ISF)in the barangay and to update constituents of ongoing priority projects in the Third District - among them, inventory of ISFs, intensification of NOCHP enrolment, household survey to determine needs for power especially solar technology for far-flung households, streetlights, and water systems.

Reaching Out to Informal Settler Families in Metro 3rd
Focusing on the other “H” in his METRO 3RD ASENSO –IHELP (infrastructure-health & housing-education & environment-livelihood-policy) PROGRAM, Congressman Alfredo Benitez initiated an inventory of informal settler families (ISF) and a review of the various housing programs of local government units in the Third District.

Marie June Castro, Paz Marie Valenciano and Allana Montepio of the Congressional District Office accompanied by VMC staff Beltran Gargoles, Romy Moses Depasucat, Fortunato Deo Sombero and Wilmar Castillo visited the proposed 10-hectare lot that will be donated by VMC for socialized housing for ISFs in the VMC community.

The Third District of Negros Occidental continues to intensify its campaign to reach more families to enroll in the Negros Occidental Comprehensive Health Program or NOCHP to avail of free medical services in times of need.

Talisay, EBM Teams – Frontrunners In Albee Cup
The Talisay Albee Cup cagers take the lead in basketball and in men’s volleyball with the EBM lady spikers as frontrunners, as the District 3 inter-LGU tournament finished its 4th weekend matches last June 17 and 18 hosted by EB Magalona.
Silay men’s spikers suffered twin losses to EBM and Talisay in volleyball games held at the Barangay Tabigue covered court. In the women’s match, EBM beat Victorias but the Victorias spikers beat Silay.
