EBM SIDA Block Farms reviewed

Members of the Sitio Calaptan, Sta. Ana, Ascalon Farmers Association (SCSAFA) the pilot sugarcane block farming project under the Sugarcane Industry Development Act (SIDA) located in Barangay San Isidro in E. B. Magalona recently gathered for an updating of projects facilitated by the Sugar Regulatory Administration and the Department of Agrarian Reform through the efforts of Third District Congressman Alfredo Benitez.
The 47 member-farmers were led by their chairman, Reynaldo Demecino and assisted by San Isidro Punong Barangay Ronnie Loro.
A review of the package of services and projects benefitting the farmers who are agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARB) and certification of land ownership award (CLOA) holders, as well as an updating of the project status was led by DAR-SIDA Block Farm Coordinator Joemel Magno and SRA Block Farm Coordinatoir for Northern Negros, Louie Gamboa.*
