SIDA orientation in E.B. Magalona

Agrarian reform beneficiaries, holders of the Certificate of Land Ownership Awards, and small sugarcane farm cultivators in Barangay Consing, E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental, were gathered recently for an orientation on the Sugarcane Industry Development Act (SIDA) programs by the Office of Rep. Alfredo Benitez (Neg. Occ., 3rd District), its press release said.
SIDA block farm coordinator, Joemel Magno, discussed the socialized credit program, trainings, scholarship grants, and other infrastructure support from the Sugar Regulatory Administration, Department of Agrarian Reform, and other agencies that can be availed of by organized groups under the SIDA.
The activity was supported by Barangay Captain Rio Jemilla and members of the barangay council, the press release added.*
